This ensures a leak proof seal even in extreme pressures. It is mainly for use on Tool joints, Drill collars and other Rotary Shouldered connections. Compound conforms to API RP 7A1. It is also used for lubrication of drill pipes, collars, tools and jacking system. The features of the Thread Compound are as follows:

• Service Rating: [-]12º C [10º F] to [+]177 ºC [350º F].

• It prevents galling and seizing and the need for excess Torque application to achieve breakout.

• The compounds provide guard against corrosion and it is easily brushable.

• Used for lubrication of Jack up rig leg racks and pinions.
